Our client, an established and growing business based in the Six Hills area (between Melton Mowbray and Loughborough, just off the A46), is currently seeking a Samples Operative to join their busy distribution team on a temp-to-perm basis. Due to the location of the role own transport is essential.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

This is a hands-on role within a small warehouse environment, supporting the preparation and despatch of product samples to customers nationwide.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone reliable and hardworking looking for long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing and labelling sample packs ready for despatch
• Processing orders using internal systems and courier platforms
• Quality checking samples and outbound packaging
• General warehouse duties
• Stock management, including organisation and stock takes
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Person Specification:

• A strong team player who can also work independently
• High attention to detail and pride in their work
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Conscientious with a strong sense of responsibility
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the day (essential)
• Able to reliably commute to the client’s location (essential)
• FLT (Flexi/Bendi or Counterbalance) experience advantageous

This is an immediate start opportunity with the potential to become permanent following a successful temporary period.
