Registered Children’s Home Manager
Location: Goldthorn, Wolverhampton
Salary: £60,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager to lead the setup and registration of a brand-new one-bed children’s home providing solo placements with a 2:1 staffing ratio.
This is a challenging and rewarding role, suited to a resilient, confident professional who is experienced in working with young people who present complex and challenging behaviours—and who is not fazed by high expectations or responsibility.

2:1 staffing model
Located in Goldthorn, Wolverhampton – an affluent, quiet area
Planning permission approved and ready to move into the next phase
You will play a key role in shaping the home from the ground up, giving you the opportunity to put your own stamp on its culture, systems, and practice. You will work actively in setting up the home, supported by the Responsible Individual (RI), before progressing through recruitment and the Ofsted registration process.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Significant experience working with challenging young people
Proven Ofsted inspection outcomes of “Good” or above, achieved in their own right (not under a previous manager)
Strong leadership, resilience, and the ability to manage a demanding environment
Experience in preparing for and completing Ofsted registration and inspections
A full UK driving licence (essential)
DBS Update Service membership (desirable)
