Summary

Wood CNC Machinist – Doncaster (DN9)

We’re looking for an experienced Wood CNC Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Doncaster (DN9). This is a stable, long-term role with great hours and competitive pay.

Pay & Hours

• Up to £16.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Overtime paid at 1.25x
• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: Early finish

The Role

• Operating CNC machinery working primarily with timber and wood-based materials
• Programming, setting, and operating CNC routers (programming experience a strong advantage)
• Producing high-quality components to drawings and specifications
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience operating wood CNC / CNC routers
• Strong understanding of timber, sheet materials, and wood machining processes
• CNC programming knowledge is highly advantageous
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
