Summary

Exams Invigilator

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for appoint additional Exams Invigilators to join our Exams Office at Newcastle College to conduct invigilation of various exams. This is a fixed term appointment to support with the main summer exams series in May and June.

A full training and induction will be given to all successful candidates. Your main responsibilities as the Exams Invigilator will include:

  • ensuring exam rooms are correctly set up,
  • communicating and managing groups of learners,
  • ensuring exams are carried out according to the rules and regulations,
  • preventing potential malpractice,
  • taking responsibility for the security of exam material before, during and after each exam,
  • documenting and reporting any incidents,
  • following emergency procedures,
  • giving assistance to learners with access arrangements.
