An exceptional SEND provision in West London is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The school supports children and young people with a primary diagnosis of autism, offering a highly structured, nurturing and therapeutic learning environment where pupils thrive through consistency, creativity and personalised teaching.

You will be joining a well‑resourced setting with small class sizes, strong pastoral systems, and a highly supportive leadership team who prioritise staff wellbeing and professional development.

The Role
- Deliver engaging, accessible Maths lessons to learners with autism across KS3-KS4
- Teach a small amount of PSHE, focusing on communication, independence and life skills
- Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs, including sensory profiles and communication differences
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure EHCP outcomes are met
- Use structure, routine and visual supports to create a calm, predictable learning environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils through patience, empathy and consistency

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - UK QTS essential
- Proven UK teaching experience (SEND or mainstream)
- Experience teaching Maths
- Confidence delivering PSHE to learners with autism
- Strong understanding of ASC, communication needs and sensory regulation
- Ability to differentiate effectively and use creative approaches to engage learners
- A calm, resilient and compassionate approach
