Are you looking for a rewarding role that fits perfectly around your morning commitments? Scole Church of England Primary Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join our small, friendly school community.
Because we are a smaller school, we pride ourselves on knowing every child. You won’t just be a staff member; you’ll be a vital part of our school family, helping our pupils thrive in a supportive and creative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your afternoons will be varied and impactful, focusing on both general classroom assistance and targeted support:

- Targeted Interventions: Delivering structured 1:1 or small group interventions in Literacy and Numeracy to help close attainment gaps as well as focused provision for children with SEN.
- In-Class Support: Working alongside the Class Teacher to ensure all children can access the afternoon curriculum (Art, Science, PE, etc.).
- Progress Tracking: Monitoring student responses during interventions and providing feedback to the teacher to help shape future planning.
- Resource Preparation: Creating bespoke learning aids to support children with specific learning needs (SEND).
- Social & Emotional Support: building relationships and supporting children to regulate and focus

Why Choose Us?

- A Warm Welcome: We are a small, supportive team where everyone’s contribution is valued.
- Well-Behaved Pupils: Our children are curious, kind, and eager to learn.
- Professional Growth: Access to training and development.
- Work-Life Balance: Perfect for those seeking meaningful work without a full-time commitment.

The hours required will be 13:00 – 15:15, Monday to Thursday.
