Summary
The Role
We are seeking experienced OOW Deck Officers to join our team on the West Coast. This is a hands-on operational role supporting the Master in the safe navigation, operation, and management of our harvest vessel to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Master with the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
Stand navigational and operational watches in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and fish welfare standards at all times.
Support and work effectively with a small crew of 4–5.
Assist in overseeing daily vessel activities including deck operations and crew coordination.
Maintain accurate logs, records, and operational reports as required.
Uphold all relevant maritime regulations, company procedures, and SMS requirements.
