Your Role

In this role, you will lead and deploy a team of Learning Support Workers, Positive Progressions Coordinator and volunteers, ensuring effective delivery of support across the Service. You will oversee front to end Information, Advice and Guidance and all aspects of onboarding and exiting learners. You will collaborate with programme areas to create clear and inclusive learning pathways. The position involves liaising with external agencies to provide specialist support where needed and embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the curriculum. Acting as a Safeguarding Officer when required, you will also monitor learner progress, retention, success rates and destination, contributing to continuous quality improvement.

About You

You will bring proven experience in SEND coordination and team management, alongside a strong understanding of Additional Learning Support and employability pathways. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance, as well as English and/or Maths at a minimum of Level 2. Relevant SEND qualifications are desirable. You will demonstrate excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities and an empathetic, inclusive approach to supporting learners.
