Summary
Are you a Fit Out Estimator with experience looking to join a rapidly growing private regional fit out contractor?
Due to expansion, this well respected regional contractor are looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to take the lead in the pre construction department of a new division. This is an exciting time to join a business that is looking to double in size over the next 3 years. Reporting in to the Commercial Director, you work on a variety of tenders up to the value of £5m. Typical tenders can be anything from small works of £50k up to £3m. This is across commercial, residential projects such as care homes, maintenance, fire stopping, compliance. They work with several blue-chip clients and tier 1 contractors contractors along with various government agencies, and housing associations nationally.
Responsibilities for Senior Estimator
- Produce detailed quotations, raise purchase orders, manage project budgets and approve supplier invoices.
- Develop cost estimates for projects, covering labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor costs
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for Fit-Out projects.
- Develop comprehensive and accurate estimations & presentations.
- Multitasking several tenders.
Requirements for Senior Estimator
- Relevant construction related degree or qualification.
- Experience on projects from £50K - £3m.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Fitout
- Maintain current knowledge of industry pricing, regulations, and best practices
