Luma Education Recruitment is delighted to be working with a friendly, well-established nursery in Sandwich, Kent who are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant / Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 qualified) to join their dedicated early years team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children’s development within a nurturing, stimulating and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nursery Assistant / Practitioner, you will:
Support children aged 0–5 with their emotional, physical and educational development.
Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Provide a safe, clean and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play.
Observe, monitor and record children’s progress.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.
Adhere to all safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Has experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting (desirable but not essential).
Is warm, patient, reliable and passionate about working with children.
Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
