Summary
The Best Connection are proudly recruiting for multiple Horticultural Nursery Workers to join our well established client in Horsham. This is a hands-on outdoor role assisting with plant production, crop care and general daily operations.
Location: Horsham
Industry: Agriculture
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Early finishes on Fridays if work is completed.
Pay: £12.50 an hour
Key Responsibilities of the Horticultural Nursery Worker:
- Assisting with planting, potting, spacing and general crop husbandry.
- Monitoring plant health and moisture levels.
- Aiding in stock rotation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation.
Requirements of the Grounds Maintenance Operative:
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks and manual handling.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence to get to site.
- Ideally previous experience in gardening/ horticultural environment but not essential.
