Summary

On the look out for a brand new part-time job for 2026 with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? You're in luck as our amazing #TeamBlackwood are now on the look out for a bubbly, friendly and flexible new *female colleague to join them in Dundee on a permanent part-time (16 hours per week) basis.

Our team and the individuals you'll support

You'll become part of a fun, friendly team who provide support to two amazing ladies with complex support needs within their own residential setting.

The great thing about this job it that no two days are ever the same. As a Support Practitioner, you'll support both ladies with their day to day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care, moving and assisting and medication.

With both ladies enjoying being part of their local community, we're looking for you to be enthusiastic about participating and supporting them with their hobbies and interests which include music and sensory activities, arts & crafts, day trips, baking, swimming and going for walks.

About you

Here at Cornerstone, we recruit on Values and transferrable skills; we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team. We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

As both ladies have their own mobility car, we are ideally looking for someone who has a full driving license and at least 1 years' driving experience, however, this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate.


All we’ll need you to bring is: -

A caring and compassionate attitude
The ability to work well in a team
Good communication and organisational skills
Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity and the ladies also have their own hot tub
A positive approach to learning
Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns do include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.

Please note that we are unable to work this contracted posts around a university or college timetable and/or placements.
