Summary
Why am I here (Purpose ) To provide clinical leadership across medicines optimisation services, designing commercially viable solutions that deliver clinical excellence and value for customers while ensuring safe, effective service delivery and supporting clinical teams through supervision and development. What am I aiming to achieve (Outcomes) Provide clinical leadership across all of Medicine Optimisation and service delivery workstreams Design and operationalise commercially viable service offerings valued by customers Deliver credible clinical insight and assurance for customers and clients Act as safeguarding lead for Spirit Provide training and clinical support for clinical staff delivering services Any reasonable duties shall be undertaken to achieve the above. How I will know I have succeeded? (Success Measures) Demonstrate adherence to policies including confidentiality, safeguarding, information governance, and health and safety Effectively communicate and gain cooperation from stakeholders including patients, colleagues, and NHS/private organisations Successfully identify, assess, and manage clinical risk when working with individuals Deliver professional expertise with accountability and maintain effective collaborative relationships Apply in-depth therapeutic knowledge and evidence-based healthcare principles Demonstrate emotional resilience and sustained performance under pressure Show understanding of primary care prescribing and strategies for improving prescribing practices What will I do (Responsibilities) Establish work practices ensuring clinically safe and effective service development Implement clinical supervision systems and ongoing CPD frameworks for clinical team members Identify and design solutions for Medicines Optimisation business opportunities Operationalise service concepts meeting clinical and governance standards Collaborate with customers to create innovative solutions meeting their needs Provide clinical leadership during piloting, mobilising, and roll-out of services Develop evidence and communicate successes to support service claims Maintain continuous improvement mindset and identify better service delivery opportunities Establish and maintain relationships with third parties where required Work closely with Group Governance Committee ensuring services operate within governance framework Attend and contribute to senior leadership and team Spirit meetings
