Summary
In addition to the main duties, the successful candidate will be involved in the triaging and assessment of referred patients. Monitor the appropriateness of referrals, obtaining information relevant to patient care, interpreting, and reporting clinical findings and ensuring appropriate discharge or ongoing care. Encourage and support staff to obtain BSE accreditation. To provide teaching and support, to all members of the department and medical staff who are learning technical cardiology.To actively encourage and develop a multidisciplinary approach to cardiac care. To ensure full national accreditation is maintained, undertake further training as required for both professional development and service provision.
