· Salary: £42,912 to £45,852 / Pro rata to 0.6 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) would be £25,747 to £27,511
· Contract Type: Maternity Cover, 1 Year Fixed Term Contract, All Year Round

Your new role
· Act as the primary contact for HR queries, offering guidance on matters such as grievances, absence management, and conflict resolution.
· Keep HR policies current and compliant with evolving employment legislation, safeguarding protocols, and data protection regulations.
· Lead the annual performance appraisal process, ensuring it aligns with school objectives and promotes staff development opportunities.
· Oversee recruitment processes to ensure full compliance with safer recruitment standards, right-to-work checks, and safeguarding requirements, while providing support throughout the hiring cycle as needed.
· Prepare HR reports and manage statutory submissions (including workforce census), while supporting audits and inspections related to HR and safeguarding practices.
