Crynodeb
We are seeking a self motivated, proactive and hard working individual to join our brilliant team Guy's inpatient dispensary.
The post-holder will work closely with our Senior Pharmacy assistants to help provide core support to dispensary team, demonstrate comprehensive communication and assist in the dispensing of medicines to in-patients and the supply of discharge medications in line with CQC standards.
The main duties of a Senior Pharmacy assistant;
• Assisting with hatch and phone duties
• Communicating and liaising with Senior Pharmacy assistants,Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists throughout the department
• Answering and solving complex queries from a variety of healthcare professionals
• Ordering, monitoring and stocking the Dispensary appliances daily
• Dispensary location stock top ups
• Basic understanding of controlled drug medication and legalities
• Rotation of stock to ensure minimal stock loss
• Omnicell cabinet counts for ward stock
• Accurately dispensing inpatient, discharge medication and controlled drug stock medication
