Registered Veterinary Nurse – Independent Small Animal Practice
East London | Permanent | No OOH or Nights
This role offers a high level of nursing autonomy, exposure to both medical and surgical caseloads, and the opportunity to practise gold-standard veterinary nursing within a well-equipped, clinically focused environment.
The position is ideally suited to an RVN with at least two years’ post-qualification experience who is confident managing inpatient care, anaesthesia and nurse-led procedures to a high standard.
Working Pattern-
4-day or 5-day week available

No out-of-hours, no nights, no on-call and no Sundays

The nursing team plays an integral role in clinical decision-making, with nurses actively involved in patient management rather than solely assisting.
Key Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe successful RVN will be responsible for:

Delivering gold-standard inpatient care, including continuous monitoring, pain scoring and fluid therapy

Anaesthetic induction, monitoring and recovery for routine and more complex procedures

Performing Schedule 3 procedures independently and contributing to treatment planning

Supporting diagnostic work-ups, including imaging and laboratory investigations
-
Running nurse-led clinics focused on preventative healthcare and client education
-
Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records
-
Supporting a high-performing clinical environment
-
Committed to ongoing professional development
