As we grow, we are looking for new driving instructors to join our team and help meet the increasing demand for lessons. With ongoing test centre backlogs, now is a great time to start a career in driver training.

Who Can Become a Driving Instructor?
Anyone can become a Driving Instructor if they have:
✔ Held a UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 3 years
✔ Is aged 21 or over
✔ Is licenced to drive the vehicle they are providing instruction for
We are looking for candidates who are:
✔ Reliable and punctual
✔ Patient and supportive
✔ Excellent at customer service
✔ Passionate about teaching new drivers
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including:
Driving industry (HGV drivers, delivery drivers, van drivers, LGV drivers, bus drivers)
Finance industry (accountants, finance managers, analysts)
IT industry (IT support, web designers, engineers)
Healthcare industry (care assistants, doctors, nurses)
Education industry (teachers, teaching assistants, lecturers)

Please note, this role is a self-employed franchise based role, so you will be responsible for your own tax affairs.
Training to become a driving instructor will cost £2,400 + DVSA Exams.
Once qualified, the franchise cost is £40 per week for a 3 year contract, £50 per week for a 2 year contract, and £60 per week for a 1 year contract. These are paid weekly by direct debit for 50 weeks out of 52 weeks in the year. The salary posted above, has already taken these payments into account.
