Summary
Location: Guildford
Pay: £13.85 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 14 hours
Days: Support needed across 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday).
If hours increase to 14 per week, support will extend to 4 days.
Hours will be split across the working days.

Laura is an adult living in Guildford who is looking for a friendly, reliable Support Worker / Personal Assistant to assist her. This role would suit someone with a good sense of humour, a relaxed “go with the flow” attitude, and strong communication skills. Flexibility is key, as no two weeks are exactly the same.
Laura enjoys getting out and about and making the most of her local community. This includes going shopping, eating out occasionally, visiting garden centres, and attending appointments. Support is also required with accessing community outreach services and helping with paperwork.

The Role Will Include:
• Supporting Laura to access the community and attend appointments
• Accompanying her on shopping trips and social outings
• Supporting engagement with community outreach services
• Providing help with paperwork and organisation
• Encouraging independence while offering appropriate support

About You:
• Friendly, patient, and reliable
• Flexible and a good communicator
• Has a sense of humour and a positive attitude
• Must have access to their own car and be confident driving in the community
• Experience with autism, epilepsy, and mental health would be an advantage, but is not essential — full training can be provided
• Laura’s epilepsy is well controlled
