Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a lady in my late 70’s living in the Roath area of Cardiff. I’m looking to employ a PA to support me in my home and to access the local community to maintain my mobility.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Supporting me within my home and local community.
PLACE OF WORK
At my home and in my local community.
HOURS OF WORK
4 hours per week as 2 x hour shifts to be flexibly worked between Mon-Fri afternoons usually between 2-4pm.
RATE OF PAY
£13.75 per hour
TASKS INVOLVED
Keeping me safe by supporting me in my home.
To prompt and encourage me to engage in some physio for my hands and complete some tasks around my home.
To assist with some personal care.
To support with accessing my local community to aid my mobility.
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

To be patient and reliable
To be dependable and punctual
To adhere to confidentiality
ABOUT THE JOB
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK before you start work. Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
