National Express are recruiting Fueller/Shunter/Cleaner to join the team. Based at our Aston location, the successful candidate will fuel, shunt and maintain the company's standard of vehicle presentation on a daily basis, performing the cleaning duties to the set standard.
What you'll do:
- Ensure all vehicles are and where required transport vehicles to be fuelled and adblue topped up following the companies fuelling process
- Complete daily deep cleans as per the schedule
- Park the vehicles in the correct bays as laid out by the duty controllers allocations
- Ensure all vehicles have the toilet waste tanks emptied and rinsed through
- Keep the cleaning station and bus wash area clean and tidy
- Download vehicle tachographs as instructed by the Duty Controller
- Ensure any damage or defects are reported to the Duty Controller using the daily vehicle sign off sheets
- Replace any damaged or worn stickers that you find whilst cleaning
- Replenish toilet roll and soap as required ensuring there is enough for the day
- Ensure all vehicles have the fresh water supply topped up and are put through the exterior bus wash, as well as all interiors are cleaned on a daily basis to the set standard laid out in the SOP
- On occasion you may be required to take vehicles to replace vehicles out on the road that require changeovers
What you'll need:
- PCV Licence is essential
- Industry experience is desirable
