Monday to Friday 07.15am – 08.45am (max 1.5 hours per day).

The other 2.5 hours to be used flexibly and may include a Saturday.

About the employer

The employer is a lady living in her family home in Irthlingborough with her husband and young son. The family have a dog, a border collie, who lives in the garage.

The employer has Rheumatoid Arthritis and can experience flare ups which further restrict her abilities.

A Personal Assistant (PA) is sought to mainly support the employer in getting her 6-year-old son to school during the week.

The employer’s son has suspected ADHD and Autism.

The hours may change during school holidays. To be discussed during interview.

Main Duties
• To travel with and assist the employer in taking her young son to school in the mornings. The employer will mainly use her own car. However, on occasions, in bad or hazardous weather, the PA will need to take the employer’s son to school using their own car. This will be discussed further at interview.
• A full driving licence and use of a reliable vehicle is essential. You will also have to have business cover on your motor insurance policy (proof will be required). Mileage will be paid, minus commute.
• To support the employer with showering, washing hair and getting dressed.
• To load and un-load washing machine.
• General housework including vacuuming.
• Shopping.
• Any other task which the employer may reasonably ask you to do which falls within the scope of the job as a Personal Assistant.

Additional employment information

The successful applicant will be friendly, able to give empathetic support, while respecting the employer’s independence but also able to take instruction.

Must be flexible, trustworthy and active with a good sense of humour.
