We are recruiting a Community Development Worker to support Smokefree Liverpool’s prevention and health inequalities work. This role plays a key part in engaging priority communities, developing trusted local partnerships, and increasing access to stop smoking support for people most affected by tobacco related harm. A community facing role with direct impact on reducing health inequalities Opportunity to work closely with grassroots organisations, voluntary sector partners, and community champions Contributes to prevention, early intervention, and increased referrals into Smokefree services
Flexible role with a varied working week and strong public health focus Supportive multidisciplinary team with NHS and local authority links Monday to Friday core working hours Some evening and occasional weekend work to support community outreach and events Flexible working including community based and home working, aligned to service need This role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement, partnership working, and improving public health outcomes across Liverpool.
