Title: Maintenance Technician Plasterer

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week

Salary: £39,707 per annum

Grade: DM Tech 05

Location: North East London covering Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Havering

Persona: Mobile Working (van provided) contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Reporting Office: Stratford, London

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:

We are looking for an experienced Multi trade Plasterer to work within our Responsive Repairs covering our North East region housing stock on a permanent basis. The areas covered will include: Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Havering.



Our plasterers responsibilities will include carrying out a wide range of plastering maintenance repairs and Decorating. Delivering quality workmanship within your specific trades and without close supervision. They must be a confident painter and decorator and ideally will be skilled in others trades to supplement their plastering, painting, and decorating skills.



Our Plasterers carry out patch repairs and larger plastering repairs. We are looking for people with experience in plasterer boarding, bond set, finishing and rendering.



You will be given an L&Q van for business use. It is essential to have a driving license to carry out this role and you must have your own hand tools (Power tools are provided).

We will expect you to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.



Customer satisfaction is of the upmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents we expect you to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service. Limiting follow ons and increasing satisfaction.



Our in-house maintenance team core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in

general.



To be considered for this role candidates will require/be:

· Sound working trade qualification, knowledge and experience

· Experience gained within a Maintenance environment

· Able to deliver excellent customer service

· Right first-time approach

· Health and Safety Conscious

· Previous experience in a similar role

· Dual trade skills
