Have you experience supporting children’s safety and managing behaviour in a primary or secondary school?
Interested in flexible paid work during term time, to fit around personal commitments?
WorkwithSchools are currently seeking flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistants to support primary and secondary schools within York and across Yorkshire. These roles are available on an ad hoc and part-time basis, making them ideal for individuals looking for flexible paid work that fits around family or other commitments.
We offer a competitive rate of pay and all bookings will be a minimum of three-hours.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising pupils during lunch breaks, working part time hours in the dining hall, encouraging positive behaviour, good manners, and creating a safe, inclusive environment
Overseeing children during outdoor playtimes, ensuring their safety and promoting positive play in the playground
Monitoring pupils’ wellbeing, potentially including administering basic first aid to children in your care
Reporting concerns, incidents, or accidents to senior leaders
Building positive relationships with children of all ages, including those with additional needs or disabilities, through clear communication and engagement
This role is well suited to individuals who enjoy working with children and who can remain attentive in busy environments.
