Summary

Are you a qualified primary teacher interested in supply teaching in 2026?
Looking for flexibility and an improved work life balance?
Interested in joining a local supply agency that supports you every step of the way, providing teaching and/or support opportunities that match your needs?

WorkwithSchools are currently recruiting Primary Supply Teachers for flexible and regular bookings within York and across Yorkshire.

Applicants must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. We welcome applications from both newly qualified teachers / early career teachers (ECTs) as well as fully qualified teachers.

We offer a wide range of ad hoc, daily, short and long-term supply teaching and support roles, covering all primary year groups, including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2). Our team works closely with our supply teachers to match teaching and/or support bookings with their availability, preferences and level of experience.

If teachers are also interested in support work, to increase their hours, we offer Teaching Assistant roles. This includes general classroom support and 1:1 SEN support, providing further flexibility and variety of work.
