We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Costing Analyst to join our team.

This role is focused on building and maintaining high-quality costing models that benchmark and optimise ISS cleaning and service delivery.

You will play a key part in ensuring accurate, validated data and providing insights that drive operational efficiency and commercial success.

Job Description

This position is ideal for recent graduates with strong numerical and analytical skills. Preferred backgrounds include IT, Maths, Economics, Accounting, or similar disciplines.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in data analysis and modelling. Additionally, there are well-defined pathways for career progression into senior analytical, commercial, and finance positions.

Key Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and update site and contract costing models.

Ensure all costing data (space, labour, pay rates, equipment, materials, benchmarks) is complete, validated, and up to date.

Conduct regular data integrity checks, reconciliations, and exception reporting.

Produce standard and ad hoc costing reports for Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams.

Support bids, renewals, repricing exercises, and productivity initiatives with accurate, timely outputs.

Gather and process client benchmark data (e.g., floor plans, contracts, site information) using AI tools.

Interpret model outputs, adjust calculations based on client-specific requirements, and provide clear analysis.

Liaise with client teams to gather feedback and refine models, identifying and solving problems independently.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong mathematical ability and analytical mindset.

Degree or background in IT, Maths, Economics, Accounting, or similar analytical disciplines.

Excellent data skills (transformation, migration, automation, Excel).

High attention to detail and accuracy when working with large datasets.

Organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Clear communicator, capable of explaining data insights to non-technical colleagues.

Curious, logical problem solver with the ability to work independently.

Why Join Us?

Significant long-term progression opportunities, including pathways into senior analyst, commercial, and finance roles.

A strong learning environment designed for development rather than requiring prior industry experience.
