Summary
Duties:
To assist in the preparation of high quality and nourishing meals to residents whilst maintaining a clean hygienic working environment.
To Maintain high standards of hygiene within the main kitchen.
To ensure health and safety of the kitchen is adhered to and reporting of concerns or hazards.
To assist the cook on simply frying, boiling, steaming etc of vegetables and preparation of salads, sandwiches.
Where applicable to assist in setting up of the dining furniture and preparing room for dining.
To restock satellite kitchens if applicable
To wash crockery, cutlery, cooking, serving and kitchen machinery.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE VALID DBS
Must have Kitchen experience
Has understanding of Food safety regulations
Can work alternate weekends and bank holidays
