Summary

Are you passionate about working with young children and excited to start a career in early years education?

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic apprentice with a passion for children’s learning and development to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from experienced early years practitioners, gain hands-on experience in a nurturing environment, and work towards a recognised childcare qualification — all while earning and learning.

At Tarnerland Nursery School, we’re dedicated to providing a caring, creative and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. We’re a not-for-profit, Local Authority maintained nursery in the heart of Brighton, with a beautiful garden, a dedicated and experienced team, and a strong commitment to inclusion and lifelong learning.

The Early Years Educator apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with a training provider who is responsible for supporting you with your learning and carrying out assessments. You will receive additional support from a nominated mentor, throughout the duration of the apprenticeship which is expected to take approximately 18 months. Permanent employment as a nursery assistant at Tarnerland will be offered on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
