What skills and experience we're looking for
In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include encouraging acceptance and inclusion of the student whilst still addressing challenging behaviour. Developing methods of promoting/reinforcing the students' self-esteem and independence in conjunction with assisting students to see how they can take responsibility for their actions. You will have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students at the school. The successful candidate will need to provide regular feedback about students to tutors and Student Development Team members. Being an excellent communicator who can support young people with character development, behaviour and learning skills.
