Are you an experienced P2P professional who thrives on transformation, process improvement and delivery?
We’re excited to introduce an Interim P2P Process Lead role within Serco’s MyFinance function. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead and deliver critical P2P projects across a complex, global organisation -working at the intersection of Procurement, Finance, Technology (DDaT) and the wider business.
About the role
As P2P Process Lead, you’ll oversee the delivery of multiple P2P projects and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, external service providers and operational teams to embed best practice and deliver measurable outcomes.
This is a critical role within our P2P transformation agenda and is specifically suited to candidates with strong, hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience.
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end P2P initiatives, driving improvements across purchasing, invoicing and payment processes while ensuring compliance, efficiency and a strong user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of P2P projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within scope and budget
- Drive continuous improvement across Procure to Pay processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practice solutions
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, DDaT and business stakeholders to ensure joined-up delivery
- Manage relationships with external P2P service providers, including quarterly service reviews and roadmap assessments
- Ensure industry standards and regulatory changes are reflected in P2P systems and ways of working
- Work with P2P Leads and Customer Experience teams to prioritise improvements, training and communications
- Identify, assess and mitigate delivery risks, implementing contingency plans where required
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable or Procure to Pay roles
- Extensive experience operating in a complex P2P environment, working in a large, multi-site or global organisation
- Hands-on experience with P2P technologies, including SAP (S/4HANA, SRM, ECC) and third-party systems
- Proven track record of delivering P2P change, transformation or process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of P2P controls, compliance and process documentation
- Experience working within business change or transformation projects
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
