Salary: Grade 7, £27,914 - £31,139 per annum.
37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
Required as soon as possible.
Our Governors are looking to appoint an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead and Pastoral Manager to join our team.
Ince CE Primary School is a large two form entry primary school in the heart of Ince.
The successful candidate will help to support our children and their families in a manner that reflects our school ethos.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated to helping children to overcome barriers to their learning; someone will support children’s wellbeing in a warm, calm and caring way.

The successful candidate must be able to evidence and demonstrate:
- Must hold the Designated Safeguarding Training Qualification.
- Knowledge and experience of opening Early Helps for families.
- Expertise of monitoring and implementation of action plans for pupil attendance.
- Knowledge and understanding of attending child protection meetings.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential and up to date documentation of all cases of safeguarding and child protection and report where required.
- Arrange and lead meetings with parents/carers and external agencies in the support of pupils and their families.
- To be the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the school and be responsible for the safeguarding training for all staff and ensure the school is compliant with all statutory safeguarding guidance and policy.
