Summary

Material Controller / Logistics Officer (Outside 50 Miles)
Location: Vanguard West/East, PE37 8EG
Start Date: 02/03/2026
Duration: Up to 2 years (project-based)

We are seeking an experienced Material Controller / Logistics Officer to join a long-term project at our Vanguard West/East site. Reporting to the General Site Manager and Site Manager, you will be responsible for controlling, coordinating, and taking custody of materials from shipment through to site storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage material deliveries, storage, and site logistics in line with programme requirements

• Coordinate logistics for permanent materials and plant

• Handle mechanical and electrical instrumentation for the Converter Station

• Compile quality documentation, including FAT testing records

• Understand and manage equipment dimensions and weights

Requirements:

• Strong, proven experience in a similar role

• Valid CSCS / ECS / CCNSG

• Telehandler certification
