Summary
As and When Required
Croesty Primary School is seeking to appoint a Relief Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to work during the lunchtime period term time only.
Relief staff may be called upon to work with two hours' notice to cover absence of other school staff subject to their own availability, during the lunchtime period, between 11.45am and 1.20pm, term time only.
Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be required to undertake the supervision of the children in all areas of the school and also supervising and actively engaging pupils in playground games.
Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
