Summary
A Practice (Treatment Area) Nurse will work as a member of the Treatment Area Nursing Team. They will support the organisation and facilitation of clinical care in a holistic and proactive manner to patients registered at the practice. Ideally the Nurse will have experience in childhood immunisations and family planning. The Practice Nurse will be responsible for their own clinics, managing and performing a range of conditions and duties, in line with their own scope of practice, clinical based evidence, NICE and NSF. They will work alongside the treatment area and wider MDT. The Practice Nurse will be willing to learn and develop new skills, in accordance with the Practice needs. This organisation must ensure that the post holder has access to appropriate clinical supervision and an appropriate named individual in the organisation to provide general advice and support on a day-to-day basis. They will hold full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, ensuring their appraisal and revalidation are up today. They will comply with NMC guidelines and code of conduct.
