Production MIG Welder – Chesterfield
£14.48–£27.14 per hour | Day Shifts | Long-Term Role

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are hiring experienced MIG Welders for a leading manufacturing company in Chesterfield. This is a long-term, stable role with excellent pay, overtime and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG welding large industrial casings and components

  
  

• Reading and working from engineering drawings

  
  

• Producing consistent, high-quality welds

  
  

• Working safely in warm manufacturing environments

  
  

• Following all health & safety procedures

  
  

  Shift Pattern – Days:

  • Rotating weekly hours: 39, 42, 45, 48

    
    

  • Start 05:45am daily, early finish Fridays

    
    

  • Example 45-hour week: Mon–Thu 05:45–15:45, Fri 05:45–10:45

    
    

    Pay & Overtime:

    • £14.48/hr Days

      
      

    • £20.36/hr Weekday & Saturday OT | £27.14/hr Sunday & Bank Holiday OT

        Requirements:

        • Basic MIG welding experience (weld test required)

          
          

        • Able to read and follow engineering plans

          • Safety boots & overalls required, all other PPE provided
