We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled UK Security Operations Manager to provide operational management support to KPMG, ensuring the delivery of exceptional security services across the organisation’s UK estate.​

This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex security operations, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Job Description

You will work closely with the Security National Account Manager and KPMG’s security department, overseeing all aspects of physical security, business continuity, and crisis management.​

This position demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team in a dynamic corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor security operations staff, driving accountability and performance.

Oversee daily operations, including prioritisation, escalations, and shift coverage.

Act as the primary decision-maker during security incidents.

Maintain strong relationships with KPMG security leadership and regional managers.

Support delivery of physical security services such as guarding, patrols, access control, CCTV, and alarms.

Assist with business continuity and crisis management planning and exercises.

Conduct security assessments and lead investigations as required.

Manage financial controls and ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven track record in senior security leadership roles within corporate or blue-chip environments.

Significant experience in the private security sector, with strong operational management expertise.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

Skilled in risk assessment, threat analysis, and mitigation strategies.

Inspirational leader with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficient in conflict resolution, negotiation, and HR best practices.

Adaptable, resilient, and committed to ethical decision-making.
