Job Title: Supply Teacher (EYFS – KS2)

The Role
We are working with a range of welcoming and well-regarded primary schools across the London Borough of Barnet who are seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to support them on a flexible, part-time basis.

This role offers complete flexibility, allowing you to work as many or as few days as you choose, making it ideal for teachers seeking work-life balance, returning to teaching, or looking to gain experience across different school settings. Supply work is available across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, depending on your preferences and experience.

Many placements offer pre-planned lessons and the support of experienced teaching assistants, ensuring a smooth and positive supply experience.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher
Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times
Provide feedback to school staff at the end of the day

Person Specification
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
Confidence teaching across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexibility, reliability, and professionalism

Desirable:
Experience across multiple key stages
Availability for short-term or longer-term supply
Confidence in adapting to new school environments
