PS Ltd are currently recruiting for General Operatives for a reputable company based in Alfreton
The Role:
As part of the team, you’ll help manufacture high-quality products in a Lean environment. You’ll have hands-on involvement with machinery, quality control, and improving processes. Your main responsibilities will include:
Operating power presses (100t & G75) and ensuring quality standards
Preparing products for painting and spotting defects
Fitting products to the highest standard
Maintaining equipment and working with a focus on quality at each step
Participating in daily production huddles and offering suggestions for improvement
Requirements:
Basic experience in a paint shop or quality control environment
Ability to operate, set up, and maintain powder coating equipment and presses
Strong communication skills and a focus on teamwork
Confidence to share ideas and contribute during daily meetings
A growth mindset and commitment to personal development
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 16:30pm
Friday 07:30am-13:30pm
Pay - £13.50 - £15.13ph
