Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Dayshift Contracted hours: 30Manor House Care Home is a large, privately owned service with several specialist divisions, providing tailored care for up to 125 residents.
We are looking for a reliable, approachable, and organised Porter to support the smooth day to day running of the home. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and well organised environment for residents, staff, and visitors, ensuring essential items are delivered and removed efficiently while upholding dignity and infection control standards.

What You Will Do
As a Porter, you will support the operational needs of the home by transporting essential items safely and promptly across all units.
You will remove and replace laundry in line with infection prevention and control procedures, deliver meals from the kitchen to units at designated meal times, and return used equipment, trolleys, and containers promptly after service, ensuring residents’ dignity and mealtime routines are respected.
You will also deliver personal protective equipment to units as required, help keep internal and external bin areas clean and organised, and report any spillages, damaged equipment, missing supplies, or health and safety concerns to the nurse in charge or manager without delay.
You will follow all health and safety, infection control, and manual handling guidance at all times.
