We are hiring a **Business Development Executive** to drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and converting leads into long-term customers. This role suits someone confident in communication, sales outreach, and relationship management, with a strong focus on results.
### Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities (B2B/B2C as applicable)
* Generate leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
* Book meetings, deliver presentations, and manage the sales pipeline
* Understand client needs and propose suitable solutions/services
* Negotiate terms, prepare quotations, and close deals
* Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide weekly performance updates
* Build long-term relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers
* Support marketing activities and campaigns to improve conversions
* Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs
### Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in business development / sales / account management
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Confident with outbound outreach and follow-up processes
* Good understanding of pipeline management and CRM usage
* Target-driven, self-motivated, and organised
* Professional attitude with excellent relationship-building ability
### Desirable (Nice to Have)
* Experience in recruitment, consultancy, IT services, marketplace, or tech products
* Experience selling services (retainers, packages, subscriptions)
* Knowledge of UK business environment and client handling
* Driving licence (if travel is occasionally required)
