Summary
Non-clinical Responsible for the training of Speciality Trainees within the department Develop Nurse Specialists / Biologic Nurses and Advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapist Undertake and supervise Audit/Quality improvement projects and CME Attend radiology meetings Attend weekly MDT specialty meetings including monthly Clinical Governance Meeting Development and promotion of evidence based practice and guidelines Active contribution to the departmental Clinical Governance structure Multi-disciplinary team working and leadership Relevant participation in management Other appropriate duties and responsibilities Clinical The appointee along with existing consultants will be responsible for the care of:- All patients referred by their GP. All patients referred by the Emergency Medicine Department All patients referred by internal specialities. All patients referred by Primary care Musculoskeletal Triage services
