Summary
At BSMHFT, we strive to improve the ways in which we can best deliver OT across our pathways and support staff in developing professional and clinical expertise. We are looking to recruit an experienced mental health OT working in a CMHT setting or a clinician who would like to experience the challenge of working in a busy dynamic role. We are looking for someone who can be autonomous, motivated, enthusiastic and able to work to a high standard to join our South CMHT Hub The successful candidate holder will have a keen interest in recovery orientated approaches, co-production and collaborative work with service users, families and carers.
You will work alongside an OT Team committed to offering recovery based care and excited about developing and enhancing your OT assessment and formulation skills. As a team member, you will support in triaging referrals, offer OT assessments, support to referrers and interventions within a clinic and home setting. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate evidence of post qualification study, and evidence of work with service users and colleagues in a way that reflects our Trust Values by providing committed and high quality care.
Our team of OT staff in CMHTs includes apprentices, Technical Instructors, OT and OT Line Manager. OT staff enjoy good relationships with our multi-disciplinary teams and it is important to us that our OT's are flexible, energetic, have a positive attitude and demonstrate an ability to quality standards.
The utilisation of job plans, CPD and professional development opportunities are important for our CMHT teams and we have access to an online CPD forum and other recognised training and supervision.
