Summary

Emporium Restaurant is seeking a talented Chef skilled in preparing authentic Sri Lankan and Indian dishes. This role involves creating flavorful meals, maintaining high food quality, and contributing to a standout dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic Sri Lankan and Indian dishes to high standards.

Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure full compliance with food safety regulations.

Collaborate with management to develop seasonal and regional menus.

Train kitchen staff in traditional Sri Lankan and Indian recipes and cooking techniques.

Ensure consistency in flavour, portioning, and presentation across all dishes.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, specialising in Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine.

Strong knowledge of spices, cooking techniques, and traditional presentation styles.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
