At Home Instead Swansea, we offer full paid training, ongoing refresher sessions, specialist modules, and 24/7 support from our friendly team.
All visits are a minimum of one hour, giving you the time to make a real difference and start the year helping others in our community!
Job Description
No two days are ever the same. As a carer, you will find yourself creating small moments that make a big difference. Be it helping with mobility, chores, or simply being there to listen and celebrate the start of a fresh year together.
Here’s what the role entails:
Personal care like washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Medication and daily routines
Light housework
Companionship and emotional support
Appointments or social activities
Shifts available:
Monday to Friday + alternate weekends (shifts start at 8 o'clock in the morning)
Saturday and Sunday: 08:00 – 14:00 or later finish
Qualifications
You don’t need previous care experience. You’ll just need:
A genuine passion in helping older people
A valid driving licence, access to a car, and business insurance
Availability on weekdays and/or weekends
A willingness to learn and work as part of a supportive team
