Summary
We are looking for someone to lead our wonderful team of Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants. This is an enjoyable, varied job and is key to ensuring pupils have a happy lunchbreak.
You will need to be organised and punctual, able to communicate with children and adults well and be able to show understanding of the importance of safety and safeguarding. We are looking for somebody who understands that all children are individuals and who listens to what they need.
The role involves:
• Managing the lunchtime team (setting and communicating rotas, assisting with recruitment and interviewing)
• Day to day oversight of lunchtimes (including behaviour management, resource ordering)
• Helping to train and develop the lunch team
• Fulfilling the role of a lunchtime supervisor; including helping to organise pupils in the hall, classrooms and outside areas, encouraging positive behaviour and supporting healthy eating.
• Ensuring the safety and welfare of all our pupils.
• Dealing with minor first aid needs (training available)
