About us
Pencoedtre High School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic attendance manager to provide support to the school's pastoral and administrative departments in dealing with attendance issues The focus is to improve pupil attendance, improve inclusion of targeted pupils and promote pupil progress. The successful candidate will be required to undertake administrative work, support pupils and families, and monitor pupils absent without a valid reason, linking in and working closely with the school's leadership team and with the local authority.

About the role
Pay Details: Grade 6 SCP 14 – 19 £29,540 - £32,061 (PRO RATA) £15.31 - £16.62 Per Hour
Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: 37 hours / 39 weeks – term time including INSETs

Description:
The Attendance Manager will oversee the whole school attendance strategy and graduated response. They will work closely with the Heads of Year to improve attendance across the school.

This is an exciting opportunity which requires the successful applicant to be highly organised, competent, and accurate at meeting deadlines.
