Remedy are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to join an exceptional Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Canterbury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting students with a variety of SEN, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs, across the school day.
- Supporting teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
- Collaborating with teachers, teaching assistants, therapists, and families to provide consistent, targeted support.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional wellbeing.
- Helping students develop independence, confidence, and key life skills.
- Observing and reporting on student progress to inform teaching strategies and support plans.
What we're looking for:
- Experienced or eager to be an SEN Support Worker with students with SEN, showing patience, empathy, and understanding.
- Committed to helping students succeed and confident in building strong, supportive relationships.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues, students, and parents.
