A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer with experience in water and wastewater projects to join a respected multidisciplinary consultancy known for delivering innovative, sustainable engineering solutions across the UK and Ireland. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, contributing to the design, development and delivery of essential water infrastructure.
The Role
As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and technical delivery of water and wastewater projects. You will be responsible for producing engineering process designs for a range of clean water and wastewater schemes, developing innovative design solutions for treatment processes, interpreting design data including jar testing, chemical and biological analysis. Preparing process calculations such as unit sizing, aeration design and chemical dosing, delivering feasibility, outline and detailed design work, liaising directly with clients across the UK and Ireland and preparing technical reports including assessments, whole-life costing, energy and carbon audits. Developing and using process tools such as mass balances, P&IDs, process flow diagrams and hydraulic design and supporting project delivery to ensure deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met
The Requirements
Ideally you will have a a Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline and 2 years post grad experience. Demonstrable experience in the water and/or wastewater engineering sector preferable but not essential.
