About You:

Lynn Grove Academy are seeking a lively and inspiring Modern Foreign Languages teacher to join our fantastic department. We are a school with big ambitions: every young person should discover what they excel in, and to support this we offer a rich, broad curriculum alongside an exciting extra‑curricular programme. Our MFL department is highly successful, well‑resourced, and exceptionally well led. We teach French and Spanish, and we warmly welcome applications from teachers able to offer either language or a combination of both

Our Ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Successful experience of teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4
• Proven ability to deliver well-planned and stimulating lessons
• Good organisation and communication skills

MFL is a high‑performing department, with results in both Spanish and French well above national averages. The team places strong emphasis on cultural awareness, offering at least one overseas trip each year to enrich pupils’ understanding of the wider world. Alongside this, the department is committed to widening participation in languages, highlighted by a recent visit to China.

It is an expertly led team with friendly, supportive colleagues who work closely together to maintain high standards and a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
